How to do - Warrior 2 (Vīrabhadrāsana II)

In this first of many videos, I break down the often misunderstood Warrior 2 pose (Vīrabhadrāsana II). But here’s the thing: you don’t need to change your Warrior 2 if you’re happy with how it feels and works for you. This tutorial isn’t about pointing out what’s “wrong” with your pose—it’s here to offer refinement if you feel that’s what you need.

In my opinion, if you’re practicing Warrior 2 pain-free and with a smile, you’re already winning at yoga. It’s not about how deep you can go; it’s about your engagement and awareness in the pose. Use this tutorial if you’re feeling stuck with Warrior 2 and are looking for a fresh perspective.

This video focuses on three main teaching points:

  1. Feet

  2. Space (core)

  3. Breathing

Even if you take away just one of these points, it might transform how you see and practice Warrior 2. Sometimes, a small shift is all it takes to find ease and connection in your pose.
